Position: Operation and Maintenance Engineer (OM Engineer)

Job Scope:
Troubleshoot and rectify all Ericsson’s radio equipment (BTS or RBS), Transmision equipment (e.g. DXX, minilink, NERA) and other equipment that may be deployed. Swap Huawei Equipment with Ericsson Equipment.

Responsibilities:
The OM Engineer is assigned to troubleshoot the radio, transmission and other Ericsson equipment when customer reports problems on cell or cell resources availability with deep knowledge for Huawei Equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Sound knowledge in O&M for the particular system/technology (minimal 2 years experience).
2. Well versed in Ericsson tools (Sitemaster, OMT) and Huawei Equipment.
3. Well versed with the hardware configuration of the Ericsson radio equipment (GSM/WCDMA) and Huawei.
4. Good knowledge of the network resource topology and capabilities for Access and Radio.
5. Good knowledge of Radio and Access equipment, and good understanding of alarm / status indicators and their interpretation and use.
6. Adequate support system knowledge and shall be able to use required applications after proper set-up, with use of documentation without further assistance.
