Applications are invited for this post of Clinical Research Fellow to work within the St George's stroke service. This post is funded to help develop research within our new Hyperacute Stroke Unit. You will help recruit patients to Stroke Research Network adopted studies. The post offers an excellent opportunity to carry out individual research projects and/or gain experience in clinical stroke care in a leading stroke unit.
This position is ideal for a doctor with an interest in stroke who could be a neurologist, geriatrician, general physician, or another appropriate discipline. It is suitable for someone planning application for a possible specialist training programme in neurology or geriatrics, or wanting to gain research experience prior to a period of full time research
This post is 6 months fixed term in the first instance, with the possibility of an extension to one year, subject to further funding.
