This is an exciting opportunity for a Heat Pump Engineer who is experienced in all aspects of the heat pump industry to help devleop the domestic market for a microtecnology installation company in Buckinghamshire.
The company specialises in microgeneration technology installations principally solar thermal, ground/air source heat pumps and wind turbine technology.
The primary role of the Heat Pump Engineer is to carry out installations of ground and air source heat pumps covering the South East; however sometimes you may be expected to travel farther and there will be the requirement to occasionally be away from home. Previous experience in heat pump installation and the industry is essential as you will be asked to train and teach our growing team.
This is a thriving and established renewables company which services both domestic and commercial clients occasionally incorporating other renewable technologies so flexibility and willing to learn as part of a team is paramount.
Key responsibilities:
Installation of ground and air source heat pumps in the domestic and commercial sectors.
Full project management responsibility for installation projects, drawing from installation, supply chain, finance and engineering teams where necessary.
Conducting site surveys prior to heat pump installation in line with new MCS regulations.
Provide technical advice to customers over the phone.
Maintain and repair installed heat pumps.
Based on the road in the South East however there will be a requirement for office days.
Working alongside the Heat Pump Manager advising on product development and strategy.
Essential
Fully qualified and certified plumber
Experience with underfloor heating
Willingness to aid with solar PV installations (on-site training will be given)
Desired
Knowledge of MCS procedures and standards.
Electrical qualifications

Groundworks for Ground Source Heat Pump
Knowledge and experience of Mitsubishi Ecodan, Daikin, Dimplex and Bosch heat pumps
