QHSE Advisor – We are currently recruiting for a Quality Health Safety and Environmental Advisor to be based in Aberdeen with the occasional trips offshore and overseas. Our client is a Global Leader in providing special services to the Oil and Gas Industry. Due to continuous expansion our client requires an additional professional to join a team with a strong global presence. You will report to the QHSE Manager and supporting the Manager in delivering a comprehensive safety culture within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the review of all legislation related to the company’s activities
• Development and implementation of the Safety Manual and the Operations Manual for offshore projects
• Performing quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001
• Performing internal and worksite HSE audits
• Assisting with the preparation of QHSE related project procedures, preparation and performance of project HSE briefings and participation in project HAZID/ HIRA’s
• Sourcing of training materials and providing HSE training and inductions to all personnel.
• Maintaining and assisting with the Emergency Response provisions for ER support to offshore teams
• Participating and conducting incident investigations
• Registering and tracking closure of offshore safety reports
• Assisting with the duties of the QHSE Assistant as and when required
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role and hold a relevant Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH and experience in quality auditing to meet the ISO9001 standard certifications.
