BASED AT CROYDON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
We will appoint either a Clinical Trials Nurse in which case the appointment will be on the NHS scale AFC Band 6 or a Clinical Trials Coordinator who will be appointed on the equivalent university scale SGUL5.
The salary range on the NHS AFC Band 6 scale for this post is £25,472 - £28,470 plus high cost area supplement, the salary range on the university scale SGUL5 is £23,661 - £28,251 plus London allowance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse, or other healthcare worker, or graduate with experience in clinical research to join the South East Stroke Research Network. This has been set up as part of the UK Stroke Research Network to facilitate and aid in recruitment to high quality clinical studies and trials in stroke. The South East Local Stroke Research Network (SE-LRN) covers South London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The Clinical Studies Co-ordinator will be responsible for recruiting to and coordinating Stroke Research Network adopted studies including the recruitment and follow up of healthy control subjects. The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment, follow up and coordination of clinical trials and studies at Croydon University Hospital.
The post will be based at Croydon University Hospital initially. The post holder may be required to work at other hospitals in the South West London sector according to the requirements of the SE-SRN.
