Postdoctoral Position for Research on the Neural Basis of Cognitive Control (0,8 - 1,0 fte)

Responsibilities
We are seeking an excellent postdoctoral researcher for a project on the brain mechanisms driving adaptive top-down control. The project is a collaboration of the Performance Monitoring group of the Donders Centre for Cognition (Markus Ullsperger), Intention and Action group of the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (Ivan Toni) and the University of Oxford (Rogier Mars), and will be conducted at the Donders Institute in Nijmegen.
The goal is to elucidate the role of human prefrontal brain regions in adaptive post-error top-down modulations of attentional and motor functions by combining transcranial magnetic stimulation with electrophysiological and neuroimaging techniques.

The institute is equipped with three MRI scanners (7T, 3T, 1.5T), a 275-channel MEG system, an EEG-TMS laboratory, several (MR-compatible) EEG systems, and high-performance computational facilities. What we expect from you
You should have a doctoral degree in a relevant field and a consistently strong academic record, including publications in international journals, demonstrating excellent data analysis skills. Experience with TMS, EEG/MEG and/or functional or diffusion-weighted MRI is considered an advantage.
