This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Projects Key Account Manager to join a fast growing renewable energy company based in Slough. Our client is one of the most successful and rapidly growing multinational Solar PV companies who deliver turnkey Solar PV projects and provide Solar PV hardware solutions.
The Commercial Projects Key Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring, developing and managing national key accounts (real estate companies, retailers, agricultural and industrial property owners) for on-roof solar photovoltaic system installations.
You will be required to prepare and deliver sales pitches, negotiate key project terms and manage the client relationship during the design, procurement and installation phases. Your focus will be on the acquisition of multi-site landowners for the deployment of PV solar systems typically between 50 and 150 kilowatts.
Requirements
B.A. or B.Sc.
An affinity for cleantech and renewable energies
Total of 5-15 years previous work experience with business/ public/ industrial accounts in the UK, covering capital goods or infrastructure on a project basis
Experience with tender processes, technical and commercial offers
Excellent acquisition, relationship, negotiation and closing skills
Excellent network in one or more of the following sectors: commercial real estate, large agricultural projects, industrial facilities, retail & distribution, multi-tenant housing
English native or fluent
Flexible, entrepreneurially minded
Skilled both in “hunting” and in “farming” large accounts
Happy to work in a fast moving, fast growing environment
Previous exposure to the renewables sector helps but is not essential
Previous land buying experience would be an advantage.
