We are looking for a Biomedical Research Centre Manager to support the management of our Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) and UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH). The post holder will act as the main link between the Joint R&D Office, ICH, and clinical Divisions at GOSH, to ensure that new and on-going research is supported and developed to the highest ethical, legal and scientific standards.

The post holder will be responsible for liaising between ICH, GOSH, and other BRCs (both within and external to the UCL Partnership network) to ensure the smooth running of research activities, financial reporting, and management of resources. The postholder will also promote the work of the BRC including liaising with its communications strategy, as well as outreach work and Public Patient Involvement and Engagement activity.

The post holder will play an integral role in the organisational infrastructure of the Division of Research and Innovation and will be expected to be part of the team responsible for the planning of the BRC and work closely with the Head of Research and Innovation and Director of Clinical R&D in the development of its research activities.
