Role:
A new position has opened up for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to be based in their Manchester office. The Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer will provide a both technical and team support a range mixed range of projects both large and small across the UK.
Day to day duties for this role include:
• Providing Geo-environmental input to projects including soil, groundwater and gas risk assessment.
• Development of remediation strategies and Materials Management Plans
• Remediation and earthworks verification
• Drawing production management and preparation
• Technical guidance and the mentoring of junior staff
Requirements:
To be considered for the role of Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, the ideal candidate will have the following experience:
• BSc or BEng in science based subject supplemented by an appropriate MSc (e.g. Hydrogeology, Geochemistry etc)
• Proven track record in a consultancy environment.
• Experience of undertaking soil, water and gas risk assessments
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated commercial awareness.
