This leads to the requirement for the new role of Student Marketing Manager. The post will seek to establish City University London as the number one choice for good quality applicants for Undergraduate and postgraduate courses through a combination of marketing activities and innovations through influencing course provision and the student experience.


Identify sources of the most appropriate prospectus for post and under graduate students and plan the best way to combine markertng activities to their best effect in order to reach and impress. Prepare and deliver an annual plan that will provide the University with the calibre of students sought and accordance with the City vision and University aspirations Convey the benefits of a City education and experience both internally and externally.Carry out conversion activity at appropriate times during the recruitment cycleDevelop a relationship with student prospects, applicants, students and alumni to improve the application and conversion process.

Person Specification

To hold a bachelors degreeUp to date knowledge of the UK Higher Ecucation system and familiarity with the UCAS serviceKnowledge of marketing in Higher EducationExcellent interpersonal skillsProven project management skills and experience of co-ordinating complex projectsAn appetite to try new ideas and challenges to test and evaluate new activityFamiliarity with social networking site and techniques is advantageousExperience of managing other is advantageous
