The Department of Economics at Lund University, Sweden, seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow in Financial Economics with specialization in Portfolio Choice for a fixed-term, two-year appointment. The Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to collaborate with other researchers at the Department on research projects related to portfolio choice. Preference will be given to empirically oriented candidates, but theorists are also encouraged to apply. The position involves a limited amount of teaching (the equivalent of one course a year and some supervision of Bachelor and Master's Theses).
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
A PhD in Economics, Finance or a related field (this requirement must be satisfied by the time of employment).The ability to conduct research leading to publications in high-quality journals.The ability to cooperate within a group of researchers.The main assessment criterion is scholarly skill. Teaching skill and the ability to interact with the surrounding society will also be considered.
